This is a wheel thrown ceramic bud vase, with a narrow tapered mouth. The shape of the vase is oval towards the mouth. This stocky vase can be used for decoration, flowers, dry arrangement etc or just by itself.
The pot is glazed in a beautiful glossy dark brown leaving the middle part of the pot unglazed to reveal the raw surface of the clay. The feel of the pot is smooth all over but raw in the middle.
The piece has been fired at 1260°C over a duration of 8 hours.
